The TGP-401 upgrades and replaces Sunfire’s popular Theater Grand 5 Processor (TGP-5) and, like its predecessors, produces a warm, engaging soundstage so that both movie and music soundtrack reproduction is smooth and dynamic. The company’s new flagship model will be shipping in April of 2008. 

The SMC models are based upon the Intel® Core™ 2 Duo processor and Windows Vista™ Ultimate operating system. The SMC models are divided into three platforms, based upon processor speed, video cards, and storage space. Each platform is available with either an ATSC/NTSC tuner card, or a CableCARD™ slot.
