 Chang Lightspeed Cinema 3.0 & Cinema 6.0
In 1991, Michael Chang designed the Chang Lightspeed Powerline Filters
after being disappointed with what was available at the time. While CLS
products do offer significant surge protection, their main focus is
power conditioning, or as Chang calls it “powerline filtering.”The
primary difference in the two units listed here is with the levels of
filtering offered, and with the current capacity. The Cinema 6.0 is
especially welcome for those with larger power amps in rooms wired to
handle more than 15amps of current. Of particular note is the fact that
these conditioners do not use coils or trans-formers anywhere in their
circuitry— something very unusual for this type of product.
