Tributaries TX500
Tributaries TX500

Tributaries is a well-respected cable company that has branched off into electronics. TheTX500 represents a relatively straightforward power conditioner/surge protector, but it is not really another “me too” product. The look is unique, as is their approach; however, there is nothing particularly unusual about the TX500,other than perhaps the use of SADs (Silicon Avalanche Diodes) instead of MOVs for the absorption of surges and spikes. The SADs are said to retain 100 percent effectiveness over hundreds, even thousands of attacks, as opposed to MOVs, which do degrade with repeated harsh attacks. The power and outlet programming is microprocessor controlled.Custom installers should enjoy that.
