The current top-of-the-line offering from Panamax for power conditioning and surge protection is the 5510-PRO. There are four outlets on the 5510-PRO that can provide either“ Isolated” (AC regenerated) or true “Balanced” power to sensitive components (digital). Four more outlets use separate “balanced doubleL” filtration circuits to eliminate EMI/RFI for analog components. The RS232 interface allows automation systems to periodically “re-boot” things like satellite receivers or preamps after software upgrades, or lockups. The 5510-PRO also senses when voltage is too high or too low and shuts down to protect connected equipment, turning back on when voltage is returned to safe operating levels.
